They tried that with Shergar, but the IRA didn't think of doing that whilst the other horses were running on the track and the IRA also thought they'd miss from close range with a machine gun but everyone needs a practise run!
What a missed opportunity to make money, rather than asking the British government for £2 million pounds that wasn't going to get paid, they could have asked all of their friends to put a bet down for them! 🤗
