Being diagnosed with no funny bone is not disadvantageous.
Humour's about familiarity. Folk have to be familiar with a concept first before you tell a joke otherwise they'll go "wha?"
New concepts have to be introduced gently otherwise they cause PTSD/culture shock/brain damage. It's a bit like when you sniff glue for the first time. You have to be extra careful not to get it lodged up your nose 🙄
