You can say practically anything about that psychopath and it'll be either true or funny, in a way that the same joke in reference to Peter Sutcliffe wouldn't be, mostly due to the fact that he and some of his victims are still alive.
Fred West, like Hitler etc are history and in the past. Unfortunately, rape isn't and is a very emotive subject for either sex. I tend to agree that rape is not a subject for humour. However jokes like: A lady runs into a police station shouting "I've been graped, I've been graped." "Don't you mean raped?" says the policeman. "No, graped," replies the lady, "there was a bunch of them."
I can see the humour in that, but the caption along side that picture of 'batman' was just a little over the top for me, and wouldn't get my vote. However there are other captioneers that disagree. You can see we all have different tastes by the captions that are voted for etc.
Lets keep this a good quality site, discussion is healthy and can only help to continue its success.
