(I checked the responses, and then) edited my caption, and didn't see the other steamy, until "After,"(so I thought I must have missed it, or we were mega-seconds apart)... but it was late and I was too tired to change it, so I just left "temporary nod" to acknowledge... and I will "change it today."

You're welcome. I've killed many a caption by going too far with puns. Funny thing is I didn't notice you hadn't written 'Punishment' when I voted.

Cap Auth is absolutely correct. Edit timestamp is the same as this caption's, so no nod required.

Thanks, Steve. I liked the double pun, but perhaps it detracted from the overall wordplay. Your suggestion probably makes sense.

As you edited your caption at the same time as I posted mine I don't think it requires a nod.

I like that you don't have to point out that Taffy is a dog.

That is if indeed she is a dog because for some folk if you don't point it out, they might think she's a platypus, or a rhinoceros, or a chaffinch...

It's just some folk have to be sure, to be sure. 😄
