Totally. I wonder where cats get their natural instinct to chase mice? Okay, they may be larger, which would be curious if these sizes were switched because mice are predators in their own right. "Mmm, this cat looks like a tasty insect" But I do wonder whether it's the "oh shit" attitude of "I've gotta run" nervous disposition of a mouse to bolt it when it sees something significantly bigger than itself, which the cat is at first like "excuse me? Excuse me? Why are you running away from me?" and tries to catch up with it, pounces and incidentally kills the poor ball of fur. The cat does this enough times to learn "all these little bastards do is run away from me, I give up, I'm just gonna chase them, it's easier". But then that doesn't explain lasers...so it's a good thing there's no Terminator mice - "Hasta La Vista, Babybel"...
