Once a month my wife has the painters in. Then I'm faced with a complicated and confusing puzzle which has bewildered men for decades. You struggle to make sense of it. Whichever way you turn, she sees red. You try and work it out, but you don't understand what you're dealing with. It's too complicated and you feel like walking away. "It's one big game to you isn't it?", she shouts. You're defeated but at least you made an effort. Try again next month.
