If I'd thought for one moment that the dog had cancer I wouldn't have added this photo. The shape looks too symmetrical to me for this to be the case. The dog doesn't look underweight. I'm sure if it was suffering in any way it would have been put to sleep.
I totally agree with Karyn. The dog looks healthy and if it is a lump which is hard to tell from the photo, it's smooth surface suggests something quite benign. It looked like a pixie to me as the owner seems to have trimmed the area in that shape, suggesting it has probably looked like that for a long time. ps.If anyone can think of a good rhyme for 'dust' please let me know...
Stephen, what a good rhyme is depends on the context. Without that context, I can think of: bust, crust, cussed, fussed, must, just, lust, trust, sussed, disgust, rust, robust, bussed, fussed, encrust, adjust, and that's not including the almost-rhymes such as those with "sh".
